The first GameGune event to take place outside of Spain, will kick off at 21:00CET with the first matches being played.

The Mexican edition of GameGune will see just ten teams attending, failing to attract the big names for a prize pot the exact same size as the Bilbao event. Biggest name of the attending teams would be WeMade FOX, coming all the way from South Korea to attend the event. The team lately saw their participation at World Cyber Games 2009 go down the drain, as they got defeated by esq.wind in the overall final.

Contenders to challenge WeMade FOX for the top spot are Evil Geniuses and former Gravitas squad now representing Turmoil. Just one more North American team will be attending, being the ladies from SK Gaming. The rest of the participating teams are from Mexico and Chile as we learned the only Brazilian team at the event, ECO.Cobra, won’t be attending the event.

The first round of the tournament, which will be played in a double elimination bracket, playing best-of-three maps, will see just two matches, as BYE's have been given to teams with no opponent, meaning WeMade FOX, Evil Geniuses and Turmoil will skip the first round.
